SIGNIFICANT FEATURE...High Pressure Ridge persists over Jamaica as a Tropical Wave moves toward the island.

Comment…The High Pressure Ridge is expected to remain over the island through to tomorrow. A Tropical Wave currently affecting sections of Hispaniola, is likely to move into the Jamaica area late tonight/early tomorrow. Decreased wind speeds with an increase in clouds is expected. Changes are brief and sunny and windy conditions quickly return.
