****SHOWERS TO DECREASE TOMORROW .... GUSTY WINDS STILL LIKELY ***
The Trough over the central Caribbean, including Jamaica has been producing cloudy conditions mainly across northern and south eastern parishes.

As the trough moves further west the forecast is for occasional showers and isolated thunderstorms to affect sections of the island tonight.
Conditions will gradually improve tomorrow, as a High Pressure system builds behind the Trough and into the Jamaica area.
Fishers and other marine interests are advised to exercise caution tonight and tomorrow as strong gusty winds are expected to continue over inshore and offshore areas.
The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation.

*** BONNIE DEGENERATES INTO A DISORGANIZED AREA OF LOW PRESSURE***
At 4:00 pm, the centre of Tropical Depression Bonnie was located near latitude 28.5 degrees north, 87.6 degrees west. The Depression is moving toward the west-northwest at 22 km/h.
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 km/h with higher gusts.
This system is not a threat to Jamaica.
