*** FLASH FLOOD WARNING DISCONTINUED ***
The Meteorological Service has lifted the Flash Flood Warning for low-lying and flood-prone areas of all parishes with immediate effect.
Tropical Storm Alex, which has been producing showers and thunderstorms across Jamaica, has moved further west, away from the island. This has resulted in a significant reduction in showers across the island.
Whereas a trough will remain across the western Caribbean, Jamaica is only expected to experience isolated showers across sections of central and western parishes.
The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation.
