A Cold Front across the western Caribbean is expected to move across Jamaica early Sunday. The Frontal system should linger over the central Caribbean until Tuesday. During this period the island is expected to experience cloudy conditions with periods of showers along with isolated thunderstorms over mainly northern parishes. Near gale force winds and a near 3 degree Celsius fall in temperature are also expected especially over northern parishes as the system move eastward.

Fishers and other marine interests are being advised to exercise caution as strong, gusty winds are likely in areas of showers and thunderstorms, north and west of the island.

The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation
