A Cold Front now west of Jamaica is expected to move across the island later today and become stationary near the island on Friday. This frontal system is expected to influence weather conditions across the island today, tomorrow and Saturday.

Projections are for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which may be heavy at times, to affect mainly northern and southeastern parishes.

A reduction in showers associated with this Front is likely on Sunday as the Front dissipates east of the island. .

Fishers and other marine operators are urged to exercise caution as sea conditions will deteriorate in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.
