A Trough across the central Caribbean has been generating unstable weather conditions across Jamaica. Atmospheric conditions are expected to become more unstable beginning tomorrow afternoon with an increase in rainfall.

The forecast is for periods of showers and thunderstorms, which could be heavy at times, to continue affecting sections of most parishes on Friday through National Heroes Day on Monday, especially during the afternoons.

The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor this system.
