*** FLASH FLOOD WATCH DISCONTINUED FOR ALL PARISHES ***

The Meteorological Service has:

• Discontinued the Flash Flood Watch for low-lying and flood prone areas of all parishes.

• Effective immediately.

• While the area of Low Pressure across the western Caribbean has gotten better organized, the majority of the unstable weather has relocated west of the island. Satellite imageries and rainfall reports indicate that thunderstorm activity across the island has reduced, with only light showers affecting a few sections of the island through the night.

• The forecast is for this area of Low Pressure to further develop as it continue to drift towards the northwest and away from the island over the next few days. Expect a gradual improvement in weather conditions, with mostly cloudy conditions expected to prevail for the weekend accompanied by widely scattered afternoon showers and isolated thunderstorms.

• Fishers and other marine interests are advised to continue exercising caution, especially over southern waters, due to rough seas and gusty winds in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms.

The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation.
