At 10:00 a.m. the centre of Subtropical Depression Alberto was located near Latitude 33.8 degrees north and Longitude 87.2 degrees west or about 105km south-southwest of Huntsville, Alabama.

Subtropical Depression Alberto was moving toward the north-northwest at 19 km/h and an accelerated motion is expected over the next 24 hours.

Maximum sustained winds were near 45 km/h with higher gusts and weakening is forecast over the next 48 hours.

Subtropical Depression Alberto is not a threat to Jamaica.
