The Meteorological Service has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch:

• For low-lying and flood-prone areas of all parishes.

• Effective immediately;

• The persistent Trough is expected to weaken later today into tomorrow.

• Satellite imagery and radar reports indicates a significant reduction in showery activity across the island throughout last night.

• The forecast is for showers and isolated thunderstorms to occur mainly across central and western parishes this afternoon, with windy conditions across sections of southern parishes.


The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation.
