A Trough and a weak Frontal system are expected to move across Jamaica this weekend. As a result, atmospheric conditions will become very unstable and deteriorating weather conditions are expected across the island starting Friday afternoon.

Periods of light to moderate, and at times, heavy showers are expected to affect sections of all parishes, especially eastern and central parishes through to Sunday.

The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor the situation.
