At 11:00 a.m. the centre of Post-Tropical Cyclone Arlene was located near Latitude 39.3 degrees north and Longitude 49.9 degrees west or about 1985 km west of the Azores.

Arlene is moving toward the southwest near 37 km/h (23 mph) and this general motion is expected to continue until dissipation.

Maximum sustained winds are near 85 km/h (50 mph) with higher gusts. The post-tropical cyclone is forecast to dissipate later today.


Post-Tropical Cyclone Arlene is not a threat to Jamaica.
