*** OTTO EXPECTED TO MAKE LANDFALL TODAY...***

At 4:00 a.m. the centre of Hurricane Otto was located near latitude 11.2 north, longitude 82.9 west or 135km north of Limon, Costa Rica.

Hurricane Otto is moving towards the west near 13 km/h, and this motion is expected to continue today. A faster motion toward the west or west-southwest is expected to begin tonight and continue through early Saturday. On the forecast track, the center of Otto will make landfall within the hurricane warning area today and move across southern Nicaragua and northern Costa Rica through this evening..

Maximum sustained winds are near 140 km/h with higher gusts. Some strengthening is possible before landfall. Weakening is expected after landfall, and Otto is forecast to weaken to a tropical storm by tonight.

Tropical Storm Otto is not a threat to Jamaica.
