*** OTTO STATIONARY AND EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN... ...FLOODING RAINFALL LIKELY ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AMERICA ***

At 4:00 a.m. the centre of Tropical Storm Otto was located near latitude 10.7 north, longitude 79.0 west or 355 km southeast of San Andres Island.

Tropical Storm Otto is currently stationary, and little net motion is expected today. A slow west-northwestward motion is expected tonight and Wednesday, followed by a turn toward the west Wednesday night.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 95 km/h with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours. Tropical Storm Otto is forecast to become a hurricane by Wednesday.

Tropical Storm Otto is not a threat to Jamaica.
