TROPICAL STORM OTTO
*** DEPRESSION STRENGTHENS INTO TROPICAL STORM OTTO...REMAINS NEARLY STATIONARY...***
At 4:00 p.m. the centre of Tropical Storm Otto was located near latitude 11.3 north, longitude 79.2 west or 305 km east-southeast of San Andres Island.
Tropical Storm Otto is nearly stationary, and a generally westward drift is expected over the next couple of days.
Maximum sustained winds are near 85 km/h with higher gusts. Strengthening is forecast during the next 48 hours, and Otto could become a hurricane in a couple of days.
Tropical Storm Otto is not a threat to Jamaica.
